Bliss Drive Perth is an experienced driving school providing driving lessons in Joondalup, Butler, Mirrabooka and surrounding suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
We offer to pick you up from a range of locations, and for students in the outer suburbs, we have the option of collecting you for your driving lesson at Joondalup or Butler train station. The preferred driver licensing centres used by our learners to sit the Practical Driving Assessment (PDA) or practical driving test in Western Australia are the Joondalup Licensing Centre—Department of Transport, Butler Licensing Centre - Department of Transport and Mirrabooka Licensing Centre—Department of Transport.
Learning to drive is an essential milestone in anyone’s life you can be assured of a calm, friendly and fun learning environment during your driving lesson. This environment is critical to developing your skills, knowledge and ability during driver training, and we will always keep road safety a priority during each driving lesson.

The training our driving instructors receive makes our driving school so successful and ensures we are very well qualified to teach you during your driving lesson. The driving school has grown to include manual and automatic cars, and a large dedicated team of male and female driving instructors offers driving lessons in City of Wanneroo, City of Joondalup, and City of Stirling in addition to other areas in Perth. Our founder Sarah Tonks, spent six years teaching in the UK and attained Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor status (6% of UK Instructors ever reach this standard (it’s classed as an accolade within the Industry ). Before leaving the UK, Sarah qualified as a Grade A Driving Instructor before relocating to Perth in 2018. She retrained through the Department of Transport (DoT) at Joondalup Licencing Centre, passing the first time with 0 faults. She is proud to offer professional driving instructor education in addition to student learner drivers. We aim to make our students the safest possible drivers. This is achieved through continuing education during each driving lesson, preparing students for their future driving, and the Practical Driving Assessment (PDA) or practical driving test. Our driving lessons are structured and tailored to each pupil’s requirements, ensuring you receive the necessary skills and practice during your lesson. Bliss Drive Perth will only recommend sitting your Practical Driving Assessment (PDA) when your instructor has assessed that you have met the required criteria to sit your PDA. They will assess you based on all required criteria as detailed on The Test page.
When you have demonstrated that you hold the necessary skills during your driving lessons to be a safe defensive driver, our instructors will then recommend applying for your Practical Driving Assessment.

Important information
All driving lessons are 50 minutes, and we can pick up, from home, work, school or your local train station.
Please note: At least 24 hours' notice of cancellation is required, or lessons will be charged in full.
Learning to drive in Butler, Joondalup, Morrabooka and Perth's northern suburbs requires practice driving lessons in and around the test centre and the route that the examiner will take you. We have driving lesson packages to suit your budget. Buying your lessons in advance means the rate for each lesson is slightly reduced. If you are unsure which block of driving lessons to choose, you can chat with the team to find the most suitable package of driving lessons to help you learn to drive most cost-effectively.
We pride ourselves on our high standards of driver instruction and therefore, can offer Mock Test Experiences. Current students or learners who have had driving lessons with another supervisor are both able to gain from this experience. We give comprehensive feedback on your Mock PDA, and the package includes two follow up driving lessons to ensure you have time to establish the correct driving technique that the examiner will be marking.
Based in Perth's northern suburbs, we can pick you up for your driving lessons from your home, school, or work if you are out of the area. We also have the option to pick you up at Joondalup train station to start your driving lesson, which allows plenty of opportunities to drive the test route in and around Joondalup and Mirrabooka Licensing Centre.
